Overview
Podcasts are an easy-to-make and efficient medium for sharing information. They form discussion based listening experiences which really help engage listeners. Recently, health promotion and wellness podcasts have become more and more popular.
This week, our team has created a podcast in which we talk about some of the benefits and negatives that technology has on our health. The main focus of this podcast is on wearable technology, such as fitness trackers. Specifically, we address the idea of quantified self and its relation to fitness trackers, accuracy, negatives, and the differences between tracker brands.

Skills Learned
Putting together a podcast is not easy work. It takes dedication from all members of the group to create an effective podcast. Our group chose the topic, and some main points to bring up but instead of planning out what to say and when we decided to treat it as a discussion. I do believe that if we had made a script or outline, the podcast would have flowed more smoothly or at least wouldn't have had the minor hiccups that it did.
Considering I had never done anything like this before, I learned a lot about what it takes to create a podcast. Hopefully this knowledge will come in useful in my career down the road.
